Trained at Edinburgh College of Art, Inge set up her studio in 1998 and has worked as an artist ever since. Her work has included many public art commissions and exhibitions, for public and private institutions. Her work is in the collection of the Museum of Liverpool, Ebeltoft Glas Museum, Mercator Museum, National Glass Centre… The trope of the map has become a recurring motif and ‘mapping’ has become the go-to methodology to explore notions of place and space, often using glass as a medium for site specific works.
She sums up her work and interests in four words: #place #making #glass and #maps.
