‘Confluence of North’ is an artist-led exchange project between four artists in Scotland and four artists from Spirit of North in Japan, leading to a series of exhibitions and events engaging additional artists and audiences in both countries.

'Material Journey' was an exhibition at the National Glass Centre (NGC), Sunderland from June to September 2018, of new and revisited work, that considered the impact of an art project in the context of the Anthropocene. It was also selected for the NGC21 exhibition in 2019.

'Claude Glass'

Reflections on Snowdon, inspired by the poems of William Wordsworth, in collaboration with Kevin Greenfield.
This piece premiered at Dove Cottage, Grasmere.

'Reflections'

This exhibition was part of the Scottish Festival of Architecture during the Year of Innovation, Design and Architecture 2016. It showcased an installation of ‘glass’ catching and reflecting the light in situ.

'Map-i: Buchan Way'
This work was made in response to the literary oeuvre of John Buchan, the prolific author of The Thirty None Steps, and the collection of the John Buchan Story, a small museum dedicated to Buchan in Peebles.

'Wanderers of the Earth'

In collaboration with Minako Shirakura.

This work was also exhibited at the Wordsworth and Basho: Walking Poets exhibition at Kakimori Bunko in Japan in 2016 for which a short new film was produced.

Map-i: Mercator Revisited

This solo exhibition was inspired by the collection and the legacy of 16th century cartographer Gerard Mercator.
This body of work was subsequently shown at the National Glass Centre, 2015.
